Arcane Power Excerpts: Feats

I love the feat that lets an eladrin teleport away an ally caught in his blast radius. Really cool.

I have to agree on that!
While I'm sure many of the other feats are also practical in use, based on the single description line that feat jumped out at me the most as "that's a cool effect in both usefulness and theme" :)

I believe the point that Walter was trying to make was that the parrying dagger is not a dagger when it comes to implement use.
But you don't have to use it as an implement. In fact, you just have to hold it.

Oh wait - you're saying it's not a "dagger implement"? As in, sorcs can't use it as an implement because it's not a "dagger" it's a "parrying dagger" which wouldn't count as "any dagger"? Ah now that's a good point - sorry, I did not understand. Yes, that could be a fault in my logic there, depending on how you interpret the sorc's abliity to use "any dagger" for an implement. And how Arcane Implement Proficiency is worded - since you might be able to take that with "parrying dagger?"

And people think my dislike of juggling items/handslots is silly.
For what its worth, I'm with you. My solution has been to allow slotless implements for those who want them. They're completely vanilla, but they provide the enhancement progression, and they're good enough for people who really want to be wielding weapons most of the time anyways.

Well it's not just implmenets, but also "I usually use a sword and shield, but I want to use my crossbow once. However, this means a lot of shuffling around to accommodate that."

But that's really, really in another thread entirely. :)
