In case I have the spell wrong, I am talking about the 3rd level spell from T&B that basicly allows the character to "see" magic.

Basicly, I would assume this spell would make illusions glow right? It would show off invisible people too right?

It wouldn't tell you they were invisible, or that the land was glowing because it was an illusion, but overall it WOULD tell you there was magic in them thar hills, correct?

Just wondering, since I have always thought it a somewhat cool spell.

Yes, that sounds right.

Detect Magic can also be used to pinpoint invisible creatures, but if they move, that makes things a little hard to do, as it takes 3 rounds of concentration.

Arcane Sight does this instantly and therefore helps a lot.
