What is Arcanis?!?

Arcanis is a world of political intrigue and heroic adventure. It's the largest member run RPGA campaign, easily running the biggest single event at both GenCon Indy and Origins last year. This year it is so popular at Origins that it has sold out of it's regualrly scheduled events and the LARP and Battle Interactive that are scheduled for Origins are two of the top selling events. This is not old school D&D. It requires as much thinking and role playing as any game I've played. Talien's story hour is a good representation of an Arcanis game. I recommend most of thier product for story value if not production value. I think that the Ssethragore book is one of the better d20 products to come out in the last year. Sorely under rated. I'm looking forward to Legacy of Damnation, it's been at least two years for that book to get to this point. I have a Dark Kin character for the Living Arcanis:Nishanpur campaign that is embracing his infernal heritage and needs to see if there are any cool new feats or infernal advancement.

I just found out yesterday that while Legacy should be good to go for Origins, Magic of Arcanis should be ready for Gencon. Henry Lopez, president of PCI posted that on the Living Arcanis talk list.

Magic is a 220-odd page hardcover so it'll take a little longer.

Oh and the Legacy of Damnation cover was done by Richard Pace, a good Canadian boy who has done some industry work as well as some major comics IIRC. Very talented and a really nice guy.

Wow...just Googled Richard and he did some writing work on a Batman graphic novel with Mike Mignola. How cool is that?
