I'm sure it's in the Broken Realms; sounds just like the usual WotC strategy of "buy yourself a more powerful character".

I guess those of us playing the the forgotten realms would have a different opinion...but then you knew that when you took the shot, eh?

DMs with the intelligence of a child can toss out or adjust the broken aspects (of any non-core rule set), and just might find some significant value in an extensively defined history, pantheon, geography, and rule set.

The "buy yourself a more powerful character" comment is pretty ludicrous as well, but I think its obvious enough not to need explaining.
