Archtype Templates

I have noticed that RPGNow.com has several Archtype Templates for the Mutants & Masterminds game. I would like to get them, but before I spend the money I wanted to double check to see what people's opinions were.

Previously I purchased the Power Corrupts 1 & 2 .pdfs. I liked the first one, but regretted getting the second title. So before I purchase anymore products that I can't look at first, I figured I would see what fellow EN Worlders had to say. Thanks.

Possibly. I thought a post here might be less biased though. But I suppose it is worth a shot.

Well just taking a look at it I think it's not really worth the money... making a character in M&M is not hard enough where you'd get much use out of something like this.

That's sort of what I was thinking. It seems to me you could do a PL level 10 character of each of those types they have templates for and have your archtypes right there. Thanks for your opinion.

The Symbiote one is it bit more than a character write up, with some sample templates you can add to any hero/villan/civilian to represent them being infected with a symbiote.

I believe the others are just a character write up, a number of suggested customizations for that template. Sure you could do that yourself but at $1.85 if it saves you even half an hours work its probably worth it.

Well, now that one would be quite useful. IIRC, there's a $5 minimum order on rpgnow.com (or am I thinking of somewhere else?) Also if any of the others are templates that would make them a bit more useful. It would make sense that the cyborg one would be a template that you could add to any character as well. Also useful. So, there's $3.50 right there. I guess it wouldn't be too hard to find one more out of the bunch to reach the min. order.
