Are D&D and WotC dying?

Only my local WotC store. They refuse to take checks anymore, and I've seen a lot less people in there (and I try to go to the other store in the area, too). Curse you, person who made that decision!

Real D&D is dead. Dungeons & D20s is alive and well. " What?! Evacuate? In our moment of triumph? I think you over estimate their chances."
 

WotC dying? Who knows? D&D dying? No, of course not. d20 will ensure the perpetuity of the game. Plus, the D&D imprint seems to still have a lot of currency, and a call for it will remain no matter what happens to the company publishing it at the moment.
