DanMcS: You're right in that average IQ shouldn't be anything but 100, but the fact remains. IQ tests were created in the 1950s in order to predict what a student's academic abilities were, and (as of a couple of years ago) the criteria for the baseline hadn't been updated.
So, while 100 was average for a 1950's student, modern students recieve a lot of additional education on several fronts that have effectively bumped up the average American IQ.
It's silly, but an average score of 100 is actually below average now.
Also, in regards to Intelligentier not being a real word, it could be. Because of the manner in which the English language is updated, if significant portion of the educated masses start to use a word, the MLA will go ahead and add it officially to the English Language.
So go ahead and e-mail the MLA and tell them that all of the intelligentier people are using the word intelligentier.
