Are Greyhawk and Forgotten Realms being combined into one setting?

I love it all!

I must admit that my overactive imagination had got the better of me when I opened Salavatore's excerpt. It just kinda stood out.

Eh well.....!

I am glad that this thread has gotten some ridicule, because it says to me that people should lighten up over this whole 4th Edition/Forgotten Realms reboot/World of Warcraft lookalike nonsense: You'll either like it all, some of it, or none of it. So stop worrying!

Take a look over at this thread ; it pokes a bit of fun at this one: I've even put in my own thoughts!

Keep on trukkin!

Seriously, are you trying to incite a riot?

That's like combining Star Wars fans and Star Trek fans in one convention room. Trust me, that spells Trouble.

Great, now I have this vision in my head of the unholy blending of Ewoks and Tribbles...

I wish I knew where I found this, some years-old WOTC thread that I can't find anymore. The guy put started putting all the continents on one planet. Tried to do it logically and it ended up not as big as you would think.

So no chance of finding the higher res version this obviously came from? I'm not familiar enough with some of the settings to recognize the maps I need the words.

Might as well stick Dragonlance in there too, then. It's got two continents and the rest of the world is unexplored.

Don't you dare!
I have an old AD&D hardback on Dragonlance that says that once an AD&D character achieved 18th level, it was likely that they might go to the Forgotten Realms.
