Are/Should d20 publishers who post here required to clearly identify themselves?

Are people who represent d20 publishers, or other companies in the business, required to identify themselves when they post on these messageboards?

I know that most do clearly identify themselves (I suppose generally its good advertising) but occasionally its hard to say, especially for those who haven't been on these boards for so long.

Sure, it would make it easier to tell - but I don't see why we should force anyone who doesn't want to...

Nope, it's not required - although it's usually a good idea for them. I know of several industry professionals who have second ids so that they can post their opinions without having their companies taken to task. I certainly don't blame them.
