Are spell storing weapons worthwhile at highers levels?

target, effect, sass frassin sassanach! Why or why did they decide to over-complicate things by including so many different forms of nomenclature! Come the revolution all of these complications will be FIRST against the wall, you see if they aren't :)
Since Barsoomcore seems to have wimped out in the whole dictator of the world thing, you now have my vote for Dictator of the World, Or at Least of D&D. :)

Spells with "Target: You" are fun spells to put into Spell Storing Armor Spikes +1.

Your fighter buddy can spend one of his attack actions (like that third iterative attack at -15 that never hits anything) to hit himself for some nonlethal damage (1d6+1+Str) and get himself a combat buff spell.

Unfortunately, spell storing armour spikes +1 would normally do lethal damage. Might I suggest either a sap (for nonlethal) or a gauntlet (for convenience and less damage than the armour spikes)

Sure, but then you'd have to adjust your hands on weapon and shield and stuff. It seems much easier to prick your finger on your Spell Storing Armor Spikes +1 than to mess with Quickdraw and the off chance that someone will try to Disarm you while you have only one hand on your greatsword.

If you're that hard up for a lvl 3 buff spell useable in combat, how about the alchemical tooth from complete adventurer? I can't remember all the details, but basically you can fill it with a potion, and subsequently bite it to release the potion into your mouth. I think it was a free action, not totally sure though. That and the strap-on oil capsules for weapons are two of the coolest things from the CA IMO.
