Are the Rakshasas Rajahs/Elder Evils/Great Old Ones the same?

Ok here is a list of great old ones/outer gods and where they fit in eberron:

Azathoth: bablbeing incoheirently surrounded by dancing insane nalfeshnee, sorrowsworn, and lemure fluters at the center of Dolurrh

Cthulhu: dreaming but not dead in R'lyeh down in the depths of the Thunder sea, sending his sea song out to the psychic and sensitives all over in hopes of finding a way to hasten the turning of the wheel of ages, but to what end

Hastur: bound with-in the Chamber of the Flame in Flamekeep Thrane, whispering in the ears of the weekminded and granting boons to his whispering flame cult

Nyarlathotep: laughing madly at its daelkyr pawns while waiting till Xoriat comes coterminous to the prime again

Shub-Niggurath: spawning endlessly in the forever stretching forests of Lamannia

Yog-Sothoth: Drifting though the aether between the worlds in the Astral Plane

Chaugnar Faugn: lying dormant in some forgoten ruin in Xen'Drik waiting for a mortal trall to free it on this new age

Cthugha: along with its fire vampire children it dominates a part of Irian

Father Dagon/Mother Hydra: with thier hoard of deep one followers they aim to spread the influence of the Lhazaar Principality of Insmouth

Eihort: wandering mindlessly through the winding and twisting tunnles of Khyber

Glaaki: spreading its necromantic influence from the midnight depths of Lake Dark in Karrnath

Ithaqua: stalking the barren wastes of the Frost Fell, the dwares fled from it in the past and bear ill omen for any to wish to venture back to the frozen horrors of thier home land

Mordiggian: thirsting for the flesh of the dead it waits in the Ethereal Plane for a an oppertune place with enough corpes to slake its ceaseless hunger, at for a moment

Nodens: hunting the most dangerous of pray with his nightgaunt hounds, the quori hold nothing but contempt for the elder god few have the might to chanlenge him directly

Shudde M'ell: the deepest dweller of Khyber, its chthonian children raid the upper layers of khyber and rarely the surface, but the warped mind of the great old one craves the "sweeter" meats of daelkyr cysts

Tsathoggua: the foul master of dark and frobiden magics resides in its hidden lair Ashtakala manipulating the lords of dust for its own ends

Yig: the father of serpents and his leagon of yuan-ti dwell deep in the dark jungles of Xen'drik, his athema clerics sing his praises while abominations seek to speed half-bloods and pure bloods to the rest of eberron, tainted-one sleeper agents lay in wait all over Khorvaire, a contingent of broodgaurd, purebloods, and half-bloods maintain a preasence in Droaam

Here is a list of servitor/independent races and how they fit in Eberron:

Animated Corpse: use the standard D&D Zombie instead, for the Servitors of Glaaki use the Corpse template from the Book of Vile Darkness

Byakhee: they flock all over the Astral Plane, they may have some connection to the Githyanki that share thier planar space

Colour out of Space: oddly enough they would best be natives of Irian, they tend to make the local folra and fauna surge with unnatural growth, this suggests some kind of connection to positive energy, thier feeding on on creatures energy may be becuase on thier home plane they feed on the naturalenergies of the eternal day, cut off from it on the prime they need living life force to supplement it

Chthonian: living near the core of the world with thier elder evil sire they are feared by surface dwellers and the horrors of Khyber equaly, they make no allies and grant no mecy or repreive for thier ravages, they are monsters that monsters fear

Dark Young of Shub-Niggurath: they fill the Black Forest Lamannia constantly being birthed and devoured by thier mother the Black Goat of a Thousand Young a twisted living testement to the circle of life

Deep One: in a strange island on the north-west end of the Lhazaar Principalities is the town if Insmouth which has recently grown into a full principality after a surge of sudden gold wealth which apperently was a gift from a sea god named Dagon, a church if sorts has sprung around this unknown deity called the Estoric Order of Dagon, villagers hae become more and more physicaly strange and after a while just seem to disapear but there always seem to be more people will to move to Insmouth to take part in the gold that seems to be flowing the island, attempts to raid the island hae been twarted by amphibious creatures more ferocious than the sahuagin

Dhole: they are extraplanar magical beasts native to Mabar

Dimensional Shambler: they belong to the same family of creatures as the Etheral filcher and Etheral slayer

Elder Thing: they are on of first creatures on eberron, they sided with the dragons and couatls against the fiends and abberations of Khyber, but the couatls broke off the alliance with the elder things when they learned of slavery of the shoggoths, but with the thier divine and power, the dragons arcane might, and the mishtai's incarum prowes, it was not enough, they needed the elder things superior knowledge of psionics, granted the children of siberys and eberron had thier own psionic members but none had the deep understanding of mental powers thye had, and this was the fourth power they needed to complete the silver soul-fire elder sign, but after the great old ones where bound as the giants did to the dragons, the shoggoths learned too much from thier tyranical masters and revolted, but unlike the dragons the elder things where too arrogant to think the thier slaves could pose a threat and where brought to edge of extiction for thier huburis, now they lay in hiding should the shoggoths find them and finish thier work

Fire Vampire: they make fernia their blazing home sweet home

Flying Polyp: these unimagenable horrors belong to Xoriat

Formless Spawn: they guard temples of Cults of the Dragon Bellow, especialy cults dedicated to Tsathoggua

Ghoul: i can't see why not to use the D&D ghoul instead aside from flavor

Gnoph-Keh: perfect residents of the Frost Fell

Great Race of Yith: ideal natives of Daanvi

Gug: the results of daelkyr experiments on giants

Hound of Tindalos: Kythri is a kennel for the dogs that bend the laws of time and space

Hunting Horror: like the gugs, experiments on dragons by the lords of maddness

Insect form Shaggai: creatures from the Deep Ethereal

Lloigor: like most elementals this is from Lamannia

Mi-Go: when they are not raiding eberron they reside on Mabar

Nightgaunt: they hunt with thier master in Dal Quor

Rat-Thing: i like them servents and spies of the Daughters of Sora Kell

Serpent People: easly replaced by the more diverse yuan-ti

Servitor of the Outer Gods: they should look different deppending on which god they are appering for but i wouldn't change thier roll too much

Shoggoths: having enslaved and self freed they make for them selves an odd place in the world, having been created for sevitude and knowing nothing but that they have no concept of being thier own masters, so weither itsa powerful shoggoth lord, fiend, or other abberation, they serve somebody or thing, fate it seems is not with out a sence of irony

Shoggoth Lords: psionicly supercharged shoggths lead the upriseing agaist the elder things and found thier lesser all too willing to serve them instead, os like an abused child grown to be a man, they proved to be just as cold and uncompromising as thier former masters where

Spectral Hunter: I've made this the Dhakaani alternitive to lichdom

Spider of Ling: as thier description depicts they are dwellers in dreams and thus Dal Quor

Star Vampire: they where assasins for the daelkyr which they brought from Xoriat

Tcho-Tcho: living on the demon wastes are the canabal tribes if deamon kin, murderous barbarians that are feared by every living being in the wastes (execpt the demons they worship of course) for them make extensive use of BoVD matirial to make thier depravity all the more apperient

Terror from Beyond: these invisible flesh bags are from Kythri

The Wrom that Walks: use the epic level handbook version

Cultists: DMG 2 has some good stats for cultists

Chosen of Hastur: the greatest boon any cultist of the whipering flame can hope to get

Cult Sorcerer: I'd take the cultist NPC from DMG 2 swap cleric for sorcerer beef up the level and add the alienist PRC from complete arcane

Ghost: MM 1 nuff said

Loup-Garou: use D&D werewolf, and i'm quoting the book on that one

Mummy: same goes for the mummy

Very cool stuff.

Just a quick suggestion, with the note that I'm not familiar with Eberron. But: what if the Elder Things used the Shoggoths to complete the silver soul-fire elder sign? The universe needs balance, so the Shoggoths broke free, and thus proved to be the undoing of the Elder Things. (And possibly many other Things as well, depending on the history of the setting.)

Just a thought.

I've been looking around in my eberron books and dragonshard articles trying to list all the "children" of khyber, so far i have rakshasas, night hags, aboleths, and possibly some misc. demons and devils, does anyone know of some other ones?
