Are the sample CoC adventures any good?

The original "Tales of Terror" have all been put on the Web, along with a lot of new ones. And an amusing anecdote about publishing fan material back in the old days.

For those of you not familiar with the concept, these are basically one-page story seeds with no stats and very little setting that can be dropped in anywhere. Some of them are mood pieces, others can be one-shots with a little bit of planning.

Thank you all for the advice, links, and ideas. Noble Knight will be a useful product resource going forward. As for Game Plus -- you'd think I would have asked you for some suggestions while we were gaming there last weekend, huh Matty?!? The other sites and stories look wonderfully sinister...mwuhahaha!

I wish that our new campaign could commence tonight, but it's likely that I'll have to wait another couple of weeks before we can all get together. I guess insanity and hopelessness will have to lurk in the shadows a little while longer :D.

I hope you're gonig to write up a story hour for this one.

And if you want to run something bigger, I've got Return to Innsmouth if you want to borrow it. At 160+ pages, it's not a short adventure. (And it even has a gazebo in it!) I expect at least one player to exclaim, "Your family disgusts me!" if you play this one. :D

Barendd, Josh, and d20Dwarf:

Sorry about the lengthy delay in replying to your posts, but perhaps this http://enworld.cyberstreet.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=43439 will explain. In any case...

1) I would love to borrow Innsmouth and Nocturnum Barendd. Perhaps you could add them (either or both) to the package of goodies you've already compiled for me. If this keeps up, I'm going to have to get a Wayson Library card or pay membership dues :p.

2) Josh, it would be an honor and privilege to have you participate in the game. So far, I have two players committed to the game (and eventually in the game too if I do my job as GM :D) aside from you. When would you want to start...and please refresh my memory, have you played d20 CoC before? Just curious.

3) d20Dwarf, thanks for the tip. Did you happen to like Nocturnum yourself, and what other CoC products might a fledgling enthusiast like myself look into?

Well, if you've only got two players, you almost need another one. I have played CoC d20 before, and I own a copy. I could start pretty much anytime. What's your play schedule like?
