Are there any D&D modules created soley for the sake of comedy?

Well,

If you can find it there was a third-party adventure for 1st Ed. called "Clockwork Mage". Can't remember the name of the company but they did a bunch of stuff back in the day. In anycase Clockwork is a riot. In particular I can remember a statue which bore a plaque reading "Krushan Soldier". When you approached the statue a loud voice went "WOOPEE!".

For those who didn't catch it the statue was a Woopee Krushan.

Beyond that I can rembember a lot of teleportals that caused parties to be split up and tossed all over the place.

Jack.

I believe the company was Role-Aids. They had another book that had several adventures, one of which was written by Robert Asprin (writer of the Myth books). It was actually a fairly funny adventure. I enjoyed the twist ending, after the adventurers retrieve what they're after.

Role-Aids was the name of the product line, Mayfair was the publisher.

I don't know about modules, but the old Dungeon mags came out with comedy based adventures with a decent amount of regularity. I still remember one an old party of mine played (Pixies stole a wizard's spell components, so he left them a Well of Worlds without instructions. players had to return a biker [yep, think Hell's Angels] to his own time). It was the best laugh I ever had!

It ain't so funny when your fighting an evil NPC uber-wizard demi god with a 25 in all stats... in RAVENLOFT!!! :(
It ain't so funny, period. We got TPKed in that adventure and I still don't know how we could have got out of it alive, save by being at least 5 levels higher or by having read the adventure beforehand and metagaming like hell. Near as I can tell, there is no reasonable way to escape a fight with something that in 3.X would be 8 CRs above the party. Unless I'm thinking of Vecna Reborn... I never got the hang of the Vecna series.
