Does anyone know of a Web site or product that lists prices for such mundane items like stone, iron, minting presses or other such esoteric items?
This is for a castle my players are provisioning. i can make things up but well, i am an idiot.
anyone have any idea on man hours for labour? Like for crafting stones for castle walls, lumber for sheds, random things like that?

Just pay a few spellcasters with Wall of Stone and Stone Shape! *poof* Instant Castle! :D

It'd help if they had knowledge (architecture), tho! ;)

There is a castle builder's guide but it doesn't go into such detail. Upkeep is measured as % of total value in gp. Building time and cost are adjusted by availability of certain resources. Castle creation is just a large, expensive item using item creation rules.

The rules don't go into detail as to how much metal goes into a sword or how much coal is needed to stoke the furnace and in the same way do not go into such details for a castle.

I think your best bet is to use a search engine to find this stuff. I know it's out there. Also search for Harn as that has alot more of the nut and bolts of things than DnD does. I have a bunch of stuff printed out based on I think 14th century England. I got most of it from the web. Seek and you shall find grasshopper;)
