No, as their type is Outsider (Native), rather than Humanoid.

Also means they can't get Enlarge Person etc.

They're not- and not being humanoid is a large part of why they have LA.

I dont think that tieflings are subject to hold person due to their "outsider" native. But i thik they can be affected by hold monster..

Anything vulnerable to mind-affecting effects is susceptible to Hold Monster.
