I often have to force myself to prep for games. As often as not, I find myself manufacturing monster stats as I'm saying "Roll Initiative."
I always keep a spreadsheet of all the PC's vital stats: AC, HP, resistances, to hit bonuses, special damage, etc. So that makes it relatively easy for me to wing it.
The vast majority of my "prep" is thinking of possible stories, NPC's, scenes, and cool stuff to throw at the players.
So, to answer the OP: No.
