Are you a threadkiller?

I'm a thread-killer. Got a special FFg 41-grain hot-load for the really nasty ones, too. :)

You keep your hot load to yourself there, mister!

If you started the thread, a sure way to kill it is to ask a moderator to lock it. (I've done this a few times.) Or is that considered cheating?
You know, I've seen this done recently but its not something that would ever have occured to me to do. I'll sometimes abandon threads that I started if they go in a direction that doesn't provide any useful/interesting content to me, but as long as other folks are still enjoying it.... Threads should be locked for cause, imho, not because the orriginator doesn't like them anymore.

I am sometimes.

This thread reminds me of an old thread on a long gone Digimon message board I used to visit called "Thread Killers Annonymous". Which was a thread about threadkillers. Stangely enough it lasted to be over 1,000 posts.

Don't you mean Ironically?

Yeah, that would be a bit ironic, not like rain on your wedding day, which is just crap luck.
Hey. I think I used Irony correctly. A thread about threadkillers lasting so long sounds ironic to me.
