Heya, Nightfall.

There's not too much crossover between the Faiths of Faerun prestige classes printed in Dragon and those available in Faiths & Pantheons. I can think of three off the top of my head, and that may very well be it. That leaves about a dozen or so new ones, I should think. Some of them are absolutely mad. I tried to make mine as off the wall as possible, since I figured if you couldn't get completely wacky and explosively creative in the Realms, you shouldn't be able to do it anywhere. Luckily, Rich Baker and the Realms folks went along with it.

There's PLENTY in Faiths & Pantheons that will appeal to a non-Realms player, including several temples (replete with maps) that would be easy to slip into any campaign. The art in the book is simply astounding--a step above pretty much anything we've done so far.

There's no question that Faiths & Pantheons was the most challenging project I've ever worked on (the deity stat blocks are enormous--trust me, you'll be happy someone other than you had to do them), but there's a whole lot of cool ideas in there, and I think even the most cynical non-FR player at least ought to pick it up and give it a flip-through in the store.

Hey thanks for that LOVELY insight into F&P. :) I personally would like to get it (would help my burgoning FR3e material), but have to wait and see.

So there will be temple maps then? EXCELLENT! Btw, concerning Bane, will there be a more thorough breifing about his return in his section? Also what about Tyr, is he a reprint from D&Dmg or will he be different in a Realmism panethon? How much of the D&Dmg will be reflected about the gods in F&P?

Oh and on a LGH note, will there be chance that Rod of Seven parts gets a treatment in an Issue of Dragon or not?

I've checked all except CoC, but CoC might also find it's way into my hands - maybe!

Where's the option for the Immortals Handbook? :D (I know, WotC products only ;) )

I'm hoping to pick up all the new WotC books that are core to the system (Deities & Demigods, Epic Level, MM2), maybe Faiths and Pantheons.

Just have to wait and see what my budget will allow. :)

As for CoC, it looks pretty, but I like my original version. No need changing it. :)
