Heya, Nightfall.
There's not too much crossover between the Faiths of Faerun prestige classes printed in Dragon and those available in Faiths & Pantheons. I can think of three off the top of my head, and that may very well be it. That leaves about a dozen or so new ones, I should think. Some of them are absolutely mad. I tried to make mine as off the wall as possible, since I figured if you couldn't get completely wacky and explosively creative in the Realms, you shouldn't be able to do it anywhere. Luckily, Rich Baker and the Realms folks went along with it.
There's PLENTY in Faiths & Pantheons that will appeal to a non-Realms player, including several temples (replete with maps) that would be easy to slip into any campaign. The art in the book is simply astounding--a step above pretty much anything we've done so far.
There's no question that Faiths & Pantheons was the most challenging project I've ever worked on (the deity stat blocks are enormous--trust me, you'll be happy someone other than you had to do them), but there's a whole lot of cool ideas in there, and I think even the most cynical non-FR player at least ought to pick it up and give it a flip-through in the store.
