Are You Getting Enough Sleep?

Well, I know I don't get enough sleep-- I average four hours a night.

I could go to bed earlier, but then, somehow, The Man wins. And when would I get any reading done? I ask you.

I worked today on less then four hours of sleep. Its five hours before I have to get up to go to work and for the life of me I can't sleep. G'hhh- its gonna be a long day tomorrow.

Nah, I have nightmares, insomnia, and an overactive snoring problem that wakes me up (to say nothing for my wife nudging me- “roll over,”). I have found some help though decongests, writing before bed time, and working on my oh so heavy past.

Prior to this last summer I was getting about 4 hours a night. Made for some long days.

Get tested for Sleep Apnea.

You won't be sorry.

I can get by on 4 hours a night and have managed to operate on 2 hours of sleep a few times by being cranked up on caffine, but my lazy body trys to trick me into getting 7 to 8 hours a night. Since it likes to try to get me to fall asleep on the highway, i have been giving in to its unreasonable requests. My body is as evil as my mind. :]

No, and it's my own darn fault. I'm a night person by nature, and I hate going to bed before midnight. I have to get up at 6:30 a.m, so I get between 5.5 and 6 hours of sleep a night. On weekends when I don't have my son, I'll stay up until dawn "just because". I need to go to bed earlier...but I don't.
