Actually, yes.
On work nights, I typically go to bed about 11:30 or so, and get up about 7:30 or so. Counting time to get to sleep and the wake-up-and-use-the-can-and-get-a-drink-of-water instances, I typically get about 7 hours a night, which is better than it used to be. I still sleep in on weekends, but instead of getting up at noon on Saturday, I now wake up around 10 or so unless I'd gotten home and to bed after midnight.
Of course, I don't have any kids, nor do I have vast quantities of other responsibilities, like grad school. I also try and do *something* active during the day or after work, cut out high-caffeine stuff after 4 PM (unless I'm tired and have it about 8 or 9...then I can count on the crash to knock me out), and I have a few ingrained habits that help. Like, rolling over onto my side to go to sleep (which I've managed to condition myself to mean "go to sleep"), having a few tricks to let my mind wander, etc.
I deeply appreciate Adult Swim having Futurama on at 11 now, instead of 11:30, too, so I don't have to wait up to watch it and then get sucked in by ATHF or Sealab or Inuyasha. I like Family Guy, but not as much as Futurama.
