Quite happy with D&D 3.5 edition, which we've been playing for the past 10 years or so. But it isn't perfect, and I personally wouldn't mind switching to say Pathfinder or 5e if that turns out really good.

I just can't imagine my group switching to another system. Almost everybody in our group invested a lot in source books (got about 20 myself) and we're very familiar with the system now. It'll take a lot of effort to switch to whatever other system.

I like 4e a lot but I also think it has some serious flaws and kinks that need ironing out so I'm definitely open to 5e. I think it will be a massive failure because it's trying to be everything to everyone, but that doesn't mean I'm not hopeful that it's the best edition ever.

Reading about "5e" -- or more to the point, reading people's hopes for and fears of "5e" -- has made me realize that, warts aside, I am perfectly happy with my current versions of D&D (which happen to be Pathfinder and Labyrinth Lord, depending on whether I am aiming for New or Old School).
Ditto, though for me it's 4e.
For me it's _very_ close to perfectly fit my (current) gaming preferences. It's been a long time I enjoyed playing an RPG so much. And DMing is also fun.

I only have a couple of minor nitpicks that are easily remedied with house-rules.

Not entirely, I keep 3.X around to be the engine for Forbidden Kingdoms because I like the D&D rules for it better than the d20 Modern ones. Overall, I've grown tired of picking feats for the following reasons:
* Feats that should be skills
* Feats that should be functions of the weapon instead of being good at that function of the weapon. Most of the Firearms feats in d20 Modern, for example.
* Feats for things you should be able to do anyway

If I could find another system that worked better for FK while keeping the B-movie feel I think the Pulp genre should have I would.

Pathfinder beginner box. Love it. But paizo does not intend to support it with any other products , only to direct people to the core game and products that make use of the full core rules which i have absolutely ZERO desire to run.

When 5e comes out, assuming they accomplish to a large extent what they have set out to do, and provide decent adventure support, I will likely be move over to that ruleset.

I'm currently GMing 4e and enjoying it. The next system I want to GM is Burning Wheel. I am a bit of an RPG hoarder/collector and so will probably pay attention to D&Dnext, but don't anticipate running it or playing it.

I am happy with what I'm playing. But I'm always looking for new and interesting systems and mechanics (such as D&DN:p).

Just because I like what's on my plate, doesn't mean I'm not going to make another trip to the buffet.:D
