No. I don't have much use for the setting. I was hoping to see more on the iconic races, but hey, I guess I'm wierd. The lack of treatment for elves and dwarves was what sank my interest in Sandstorm, and I was looking forward to that one.

The only thing that grabs me about Eberron is the art, which is all first rate. Put out a big picture book of Eberron and I'm all over it. Wasn't going to pick up the latest Dragon mag, but finally gave in for the Umbragen pics. Don't care for any of the racial particulars, although the history is decent. But the pics, they's sweeeeet.

Vote No.

Wow, look like the poll's been split in half. I won't buy it but I fancy buying the Campaign Setting; I haven't done ebberon yet, and between The warforged and DMAC I've gone from disinterest to intrigue.

I have not bought any Eberron junk.
I will never buy any Eberron junk.

I feel cheated when they include Eberron junk information in non-Eberron books I buy.

Guess this means since I don't play Forgotten Realms I should feel bent out shape also?

I've already bought it,

I've also already read most of it. Quite frankly this is the most interesting of the "Races of X" books. Certainly the first one I've wanted to read cover to cover. Non-Eberron players and DM's won't find it worth the money. I, however, think it's a fantastic gold mine of information not only for the new races but for the expanded descriptions of the core races as they relate to Eberron. It breaths a lot of life back into them and makes them interesting again. I actually found myself thinking that Orcs were really cool and I've been sick of Orcs for the longest time.

I thought the concept of Mind Set spells was neat too. For those not in the know these are spells that give you a small bonus just for having them prepared.

No. I did buy the Eberron Campaign Setting to mine for ideas (for future campaigns, as I already have too many ideas for my current campaign), but I don't plan on ever running an Eberron game. Besides, I haven't bought (nor plan to buy) any other Races of... books.

Now that I've finished buying the Complete series, I'm going to start on the Races of... series.

Little as I care for any of the new races I've heard of, I love the Eberron races (except the Kalashtar-- they just don't do anything for me), and the other books apparently have tons of chocolatey goodness on established races.

Figure Races of Eberron is a good start, since it's the one I'd get the most use out of-- especially with their coverage of Orcs and Goblins.

Eventually, yes, but I'm far more interested in The Five Kingdoms (which is slated for late spring/early summer IIRC), and I'll likely wait and buy that instead. Probably'll hunt this one down on e-Bay.

Nope. We don't play Eberron, so none of us need the book.

I know *I'm* not going to buy it.
It's the only Races of ... book I've bought so far.

I got it half for the guidelines on bringing Eb races to regular DnD games (can't wait to run a Shifter Druid or Ranger) and because I'm running an Eb game right now.

However, I'm not using psionics, so the suggestons on how to tweak the PrCs and such for non-psionic games was greatly appreciated.
