Are You Using the 4E Forgotten Realms as a Setting?

Yes, I'm using it and, for the most part, I like it. I've been a big FR fan from the beginning (1987) and have all the books. I've run 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3.5 and now 4th edition games in FR.

But having said that, I am not a FR purist. I take things out and add other things to it. Along with my players, we have made it our own. Fourth edition just happens to be the current rules system we use.

I own it. Pretty much useless for me no matter the system - no details, just broad strokes who offer not real "feel" of any region, and plot hooks that are too basic to be of much real use.
