Just a quick question that I didn't see here.
In another thread you mentioned that the mech combat in 2089 was another can of worms. What did you mean by that?
Is mech combat going to be real reliant on minatures and battlemats and stuff like that? Is it going to be a miniature game in feel or more cinematic in feel.
The reason I ask is that I am this close to ordering it, but my group does not, will not, and has never like to use Miniatures. for us, combat is total cinematic (with the occasional white board for really complicated things, but only as a map). It would likely be a deal breaker, unfortunately. i am really hoping that it is playable as cinematic. If I wanted a minature game I would play Battletech or something. We want to roleplay!
What kind of combat can we expect in this game? (aside from furious!)
BTW, congradulations on B5 and Conan. Those are on my must by list.
