ARN, the Knight Templar

We watched this on Netflix last night. I had pretty low expectations, but it was a good movie. My wife and son also enjoyed it. A little bit of action, a little bit of character development, a little romance....I'd recommend this movie if you have Netflix streaming.

I'm glad to hear that. I've been wanting to see that film.

A few other smaller films I can recommend: The Eagle, and Centurion - both about the 9th Legion, Black Death, and Agora, about the female philosopher Hypatia of Alexandria.

Anyway, I'm gonna pick up ARN now. Thanks for the info.

I really liked Arn as well. Got it on Bluray a year ago. There's a second movie that goes over more of what happened in the middle east. The books were also pretty good.

I really enjoyed Agora, but didn't care for Black Death as much.
