Cregorach,

some of the Ars magica sourcebooks are making it into pdf, I picked up the dragon and bear one.

Yeah i saw a couple on RPG now, but i was hoping on some of the more general books about mythic europe that can also be used for campaigns other than Ars Magica, like:
-Mythic Europe
-Ordo Nobilis: Mythic Europe's Nobility

Thanks for the kind words, everyone, and the overwhelmingly huge response in term of the number of downloads. Wow! I hope a lot of folks get a chance to try it in play -- don't forget to look for the two free starter scenarios on our website.

About PDFs: Our general policy is to put out of print books up as PDFs, but it's limited by which ones we have digital files to work from. Thus the only ones you see on RPGNow were published by Atlas or WotC. So even when Mythic Europe (published by White Wolf) goes out of print, it's not likely to be PDF'd in a hurry, since it would require scanning and all.

I played this game once -- without ever having read the rules. The GM had us playing in Middle Earth and wanted us to concentrate on the RPing and the adventuring so we never saw the rules, just got a quick explanation as to how it all worked. It was GREAT! I don't think it was perfect for the setting but the game came across as both simple (i.e., easy to remember what all the numbers meant) and deep.

Even if you don't want to try a new system, this game is a treasure trove of ideas. And who knows? Once you read it, you might find yourself itching to play it!
