Art Gallery?

A question for the Paizans that frequent the boards:

Is there any chance that any of the art from the Core book will be finding its way online in a gallery of any kind? I like to insert really good graphics into my character sheets to stand in for my character portrait, and I'm really taken by the Mystic Theurge illustration in the Prestige Class chapter, it's inspired me to play one, and I'd love to have a "clean" version of the graphic that I could access online.

Probably not. Paizo has had a policy of publishing online their art through their blog only. On the other had, you can always grab the art from the PDF using Acrobat Reader 8.

Yeah; the best place to get good-sized copies of the images for your home use in your game is to copy them out of the PDF. We do post a fair amount of the images to our blog as well, and most of the more frequently used ones like symbols and iconic characters and flags and runes and the like can be found for free as part of our fansite resource kit.

But an actual art gallery is pretty low on our to-do list. Primarily because our web guys have a lot of other projects to work on before that.

A pity, but understandable. You guys put some great art in your books, and I love appropriating it for my character concepts!

First, check the Community Use Policy. Under "Permissions," there is the Community Use Package.

The Pathfinder Wiki is also great for snagging open resources from our blog and disseminating them. Well worth a flip through.

You can also keep tabs on the personal blogs or DA accounts, etc of some of the more frequently utilized artists since they'll frequently post a selection of images once the book they're in is out.
