[art, hosted] DnD Iconics Gallery! Today: Hennet!

Hi, Kids and Kidettes!

I'm back home, and trying to get the engines back into full gear. As a warm-up, I finished a piece that people who've been to GenCon might recognize... :D

So, without further ado, and after much requesting by the ladies and some lads, here he is, the Baron of Buckles, the Duke of Dragonblood, the Sultan of Spontaneus Spellcasting: Hennet the Sorceror! (cue WWF trash-talk).

As usual, the goodies are here:

Hope you enjoy!

The pic is great!

I just think it'll probably be more appreciated by the ladies. Look at those pecs... ;)

(And the BUCKLES! What's the deal with Hennet and his BUCKLES???)

Claudio,

I've had issues with your style in the past, but it seems to be growing on me -- I really like your iconics for the most part.

But I have one question that I just can't contain: Why can all of your iconics (male, female, tough fighters or scrawny spellcasters) fit into a size 6 dress? (The waist sizes and lean looks of everyone is just... off IMO).

Not meaning to be rude or insulting, Claudio, so I apologize if it seems that way.

[Edit: Upon a second look, perhaps saying size 6 was a bit generous -- maybe a few sizes smaller for a couple of them.]

Doc Midnight -> I got it, thanks! I'll be assembling a colored gallery of the Iconics in the near future.

Khan -> I purposefully chose the Iconics that would look best in this particular style (I tried Krusk and Tordek, but no luck yet on those). If you check out my counter art, you'll see some very un-fit characters, like the commoners. And my dwarves are definitely not a size 6... :)

But what of poor Regdar? He couldn't intimidate a kobold on a natural 20 with that waistline and those skinny arms.

;)

Seriously though, I was just wondering if it was more of your artistic style to "think thin". I really do like the pics, I just think a few are either taking the Subway diet or Jenny Craig.

Well, Khan, I can tell you from experience that it's super-hard sometimes to think outside the "thin is better" principle.

Although if you like the more portly characters, check out this pic.

Even then, I couldn't resist making him muscular too.

I love pics of sites that are unavailable for viewing! :D
