[art, hosted] DnD Iconics gallery! Today: Vadania!

Klaus

First Post
Hey, Kids and Kidettes!

Thanks to everyone for their response, it's been really fun to put up this gallery!

Today we move to the white-haired Lady of Leaves, the half-elf druid Vadania (sans wolf)! You'll notice that her face is a bit sterner than either Mialee's (who's effectively forever young) or Lidda's (who's forever sassy! ;) ). But yalk about your shampoo poster-girl!

As usual, it's all here:

You know, I think we should elect Claudio as the official 3E artist. He nails it every time.

You're the best, dude!

Hey-o.

Curiously:

  1. It's obvious you color your art on the computer (photoshop?), but have you tried other ways such as watercolors?
  2. Do you only sketch in pencil?
  3. Do you prefer to show your shading with your pencil as in the iconics, or leave it empty for the computer to do?
    [/list=1]

I have to admit that the iconics you drew are the best you've created yet. You capture all the wrinkles, wisps, sheen of hair and shadows which gradient in PS could never do justice to.

Can't wait to see you're next illustration. Thanks.

Klaus, I think I love you.

I don't even know what to say, this makes me very happy. I wish more people would draw pictures of me. I'm often neglected by WOTC.

These are pretty damn good work so far, but what does a guy got to do to possiable get a tasteful, and I mean tasteful Iconic dressed down gallery? ie something like Vadnia snuggled in with her Wolf, or Alhandra without her armor on, I'm presuming of course she wears something underneath?

At least please think about it.

Hey, It's not nice to go peeking into windows late at night. And to anyone from the Church of Heronious, it was perfectly innocent.

ALL of your Black and white art is great. I love it. For some reason i just don't think it looks as good colored. Detail loss? I don't know. Anyway...thanks for the great pics.
