[art, hosted] DnD Iconics: Soveliss the Elf Ranger!!!

I've got one question, though - on the left side of the image, there's a ball-shaped device with a handle extending from it... what's that supposed to be. Without the handle, I thought it was a helmet at first, but now I'm not sure....

That's his goofy helmet. The "handle" is the ear guard, and there's a soft leather protection for the neck draping from it. :)

Now that looks much more like the Soveliss I know....

Good work capturing his looks.

If you don't mind me asking I'd like to request that your next work be Kerwyn, he's a cutie.

Y'know Mr. Pozas, I think this is one of my favorite iconic drawings of yours yet, even if it is one of my least favorite iconc characters.

You've really brought character to this... er... character!

Wish they were hiring you for 3.5...

Your iconics in many cases look better than those currently in print.

Especially with Mialee, although I still don't like her not having any hips, at least yours doesn't look like a wet rat that stuck it's tail in a wall socket... ;)

I like 'em, as always.

And for those interested, my colorations of most of Claudio's Iconics can be found here.

Right now I only have Ma'varkith, Nebin and Soveliss missing from it.

Those pics rock!

Pease tell me you get paid for this!

I've been around these forums for a while now (on and off, different names), and I agree with the above poster: Your work is getting much better!

EDIT: That above statement is in no way meant to say that your old stuff is bad. The older stuff is excellent, this stuff is just getting better and better! You rock!

Krusk is the only one whose original I like better, I think. Mialee still looks annoying, and Ember still mostly fugly, but hey, I'm not expecting a miracle here. ;) Very nice work. Lidda is the best. :D

I don't mind at all! In fact, it's often hard to choose the next Iconic to do.

And after Kerwyn, can you do Naull (pg 89). No one really remembers her but after you draw her...

Plus, here's a challenge, try drawing several of the iconics togather like a group portrait. Hey, remember that image in the 2nd Edition Player's Handbook (at least I think that's where it was) where several battle-hardened PCs have just killed and strung up a evil dragon?

You should do something similar to that but with the Iconics. :)
