As I've mentioned before, I am a girl geek. In with my Astonishing X-Men comics, and BtVS & Angel mags, I get a lot of woman/teen mags. Well, by now, I have a huge folder of pictures of woman that have some look that makes me think "she'd be a good character... she has a fairy type... she has a tough, fighter look...that hair do, that body, those eyes...etc". I also save ideas for PC fashions, makeup, boots, and design elements. Granted, I'm not playing any RPGs right now, but when I do again, I'll have a large selection of different ideas to choose from for a PC's look... which sometimes really helps to flesh out a PC idea or even the place to start and build around what the PC looks like.
Sorry that I don't know what magazines guys could use for the same thing, but there must be some out there somewhere, like body building mags I guess.
