Nobody in my game wants to play a single-classed rogue. Plenty of multi-classed rogues, but nobody will stick with it. And they need one, pretty badly.

I chose druid, simply because I rarely ever see a character pick one, four years since 3rd ed came out, and only now has someone chosen to play a druid.

As for atypical groups, they seem to work fine, I have one group at the moment of fighter/wizard, barbarian, cleric/monk and bard, seems to be working very nicely indeed.

I'm fine with all character classes, i just wish, people would play less multiclass characters and less prestige classes. Would make adventure design easier (especially with my AD&D group *ack*).

I voted other, because I can adapt to whatever mix of classes we end up with. However, I think I'd enjoy DMing a campaign of all bards, assuming they could live past 1st level.

Well put Wombat!

I answered "monk" because I've never seen someone play one yet. It's strange, but I've been in three different 3.# games now, and no one (including myself) has been willing to take a stab at it.

Were it my Arcana Unearthed game I'd say magister, but I only have four players and many campaigns to go, so that's not a fair answer. ;)

I much prefer to let the party's makeup shake itself out rather than encouraging specific character builds or types, but the one class that it seems like my group often is missing when they really could use one is the cleric. (My high-level group contains an epic cleric, though.)
