Does anyone ever run adventures in which the forces of Good accept grief to rescue "evil" creatures from their cruel overlords? Or even adventures in which the Good guys make the BBEG's crimes against kobolds and orcs an excuse for converting the said BBEG into XP and mulch (and looting his castles and corpse)?

I've done my share of humanoid rescuing as a player, yes. And interfered when my elvish in-laws gathered together to destroy a relatively inoffensive orcish tribe who were acting as a buffer between the elves and the really nasty orcs.
