What is the smallest character someone can make with a LA +0 race?

A Small creature can become Tiny using Reduce Person.

A Small creature can become Diminutive using Compression.

If a human child is Small, is a halfling child Tiny?

Also, if you were to house rule an Incarnate (Psionic Permanency) Compression, what do you think the XP cost should be for a 7 pp manifestation?

How much should an item cost that gives you permanent Enlarge/Reduce Person? How much should an item cost that gives you Expansion/Compression with two size categories?

It's not WotC but Unearthed Arcana has a sprite race that is Tiny and is LA+0.

Compression says: "Multiple effects that reduce size do not stack, which means (among other things) that you can’t use a second manifestation of this power to further reduce yourself."

and Reduce Person says: "Multiple magical effects that reduce size do not stack."

I don't think you can combine Compression and Reduce Person. But Compression says: "If you spend 6 additional power points, this power decreases your size by two size categories. You gain a +4 size bonus to Dexterity, a -4 size penalty to Strength (to a minimum effective Strength score of 1), a +2 size bonus on attack rolls, and a +2 size bonus to Armor Class due to your reduced size."

So a Sprite could go down to Fine with an augmented Compression on it for LA+0.

Use a [url="http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/rods.htm#wonder]Rod of Wonder[/url] and get a "Reduce wielder to 1/12 height (no save)" result.

(and Permanency it if your DM rules that it would normally expire)

You could use metamorphosis to get down to fine, then use compression to reduce yourself by 2 categories, and use the rod of wonder to make yourself even smaller than that.

I guess at that point you would be something like a microbe in size.

Multiple effects that reduce size do not stack. This is mentioned in the Compression power's description.

I don't believe there is any LA +0 race in WotC sources that is Tiny or smaller.

One poster mentioned 'sprites from Unearthed Arcana" but that's a bit off. It's the Spryte race from Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed / Arcana Evolved. And Sprytes, while possessing no Level Adjustment, nonetheless require you to gain 3 character levels before metamorphosizing into one (they start as a Faen, which is similar to a halfling). It's not WotC, but it is compatible. So a Faen who advanced 3 few levels in Psychic Warrior could metamorphose into a Spryte, becoming Tiny sized then, and advance a few more levels in Psychic Warrior to gain the capacity to augment Compression up to 7 points and thereby shrink to Fine size when desired.

Most of the fey in Goodman Games' Complete Guide to Fey, if they are of the Portune sect. Anyone in said sect shrinks to the next size catagory; most of th races in the book are +0 LA small creatures.
