First, let me clarify I don't speak Portuguese so I am relying on an online translator. I will try my best to answer your questions. I see that @Upper_Krust already answered your questions. I assume he did so based on the epic/immortal rules he is working on. This thread is a different work completely and I will be answering based on my work in this thread and my other "5e Epic Updates." My game has changed to be "inspired" by 5e and no longer strictly compatible. It is a stand alone game. You can take a 20th level 5e character and translate it into a divine character in this game. However, once you make the change, it is quite different from base 5e. That's correct. I apologize I don't quite understand. What I can say is that when you make a divine character, you can choose to do something similar to your mortal character or something completely different. Either way, you have a completely new character. New character sheet, new abilities, new character sheet, etc. Also, strictly speaking divine characters don't have classes. They have something similar though: their Sphere of Authority. I am till working on divine powers, but it is intended to be fairly flexible. All gods have divine influence and divine authority which something new and above and beyond magic. Your divine character does not have a class, but an Authority (Matter, Energy, Thought, Time, Entropy). Your Authority gives you powers related to the authority. You can also take some powers from other authorities. So a character can have spell-like powers, but they don't have to. I am no longer using spell levels past 9th. Instead immortals have spells that are ranked by divine tier. They are fundamentally different from mortal spells (levels 1-9) That's the plan, yes. The Friends and Foes will be series of books. The demigods and gods from various pantheons will use these rules. However, there are many other types of "Ascended" that use slightly different rules. Those entities will be detailed in those books as well. For example, Archdevils, Demon Princes, and Primordials all have some different powers and abilities than gods. However, Ascended of the same tier are all relatively equal in power. Most of them will be from outside of D&D, but I hope to cover D&D pantheons as well. Yes, there will be many creatures besides gods. Thank you!
