(OOC: That provokes an AoO though--if you withdraw while disabled to avoid the AoO, it is a standard action, which will drop you to -1. You're probably safer not withdrawing and just attacking and falling to -1, ironically, or at most five-foot-stepping away)

(OOC: So be it Remember that I did suggest the dropping to -1 thing)

*Hulgyr takes a 5-foot step back. The Afflicted follows and nearly guts the orc, dropping him to floor, bleeding to death. With its remaining two attacks, it turns its attention to Ironwolf, but it misses both of those.*

(OOC: Hulgyr takes 8, now at -8)

*Eternity blasts and slays the injured Afflicted, and Ironwolf badly hurts another. The remaining Afflicted that had previously been attacking Hulgyr decide that Ironwolf is next, so they move over to attack, but Ironwolf's armour holds against the strike.*

ooc: is it possible for Eternity to pull Hulgyr away from the Afflicted or forcefeed him the potion where he is without drawing any attacks of opportunity?

(OOC: Either is fine. The potion thing is unlikely to wake him though at his current negative health. It could save his life though. Dragging him would take too many actions for one round--moving up, picking him up, then moving back.)

(ooc: saving life is her intent, so as long as she can administer that without being attacked she'll do that (of course she is the thing's next target if it doesn't go for Ironwolf))

(OOC: The problem is that this would bring her outside of the Almayce/Eternity back row range, where Almayce is hiding and preparing that Colour Spray. Ironically, Colour Spray would murder these things, but Almayce keeps holding it back. You might think that the party is in danger once Ironwolf drops, but considering Colour Spray, that may not be true. Of course, the issue with the readied action, rather than walking forward, is that he guarantees that he won't get more than one enemy)

"Almayce if you've got something up your sleeve, now is the time to use it. We've got to save Hulgyr." says Eternity hopefully prompting Almayce to move forward and cast something.
