So... I am happy to give more information before you arrive at the Crag, based on your scouting. I've got a pretty good picture in my head of what Kahru's attempting, though @Tonguez can feel free to ask for more as well. But I haven't got a great picture as to exactly how Gimlak has helped, other than a vague sense of his psychic abilities. So. A few questions, mostly for @Steve Gorak (but anyone can chime in): 1) What spells or abilities did Gimlak use before the long rest (so as to return his spell slots)? 2) Did he do anything else in the morning to double-check his work? 3) How "far" into the place does he want to try to go? (I have given you an overview map - is there anything based on that that you want to have had a 'closer' look at, again let me know 'how' and 'when'). Night-before scouting is great for general layout, but not great for "who is where" by the time the party gets there (keeping in mind it'll be about four hours after you wake up, so at least 10 hours after you cast any spells, if you want the slots back). UNLESS you guys DO choose to fly over the gorge, which would take about 20 minutes, but is actually quite dangerous with the force of the winds this morning. AND might be seen as an act of aggression, if you get seen. So, no matter what the scouting reveals, I think you're going to have to quickly hash out how you want to approach the place.
