Attack on the Bandit Camp [Concluded]

Fareye isn't terribly good at giving measurements of distances, but does tell Ashnar that the land is hilly, and the pallisade doesn't fit well with the lay of the land. You are able to quickly verify that there are some areas around the pallisade where one could jump over the pallisade with minimal effort (DC 8 jump check.) Getting out again would be more difficult than entering if you use this method. While investigating this, it becomes apparent that the construction was hurried and that in some places fairly flimsy.

Charlarn of Phyrah: Male human cleric 3/ranger 1

"Hmm. I wonder if an invisible person could jump the fence, and open the front door. It's risky and we'll still be outnumbered. Maybe open the door from the inside, we lure at least some of them outside and lock them out. Or try to take out the divided group."

Iggy

"In any case, we'll just have to get closer and see for ourselves before refining our plan further."

OOC: I'm ready to skip to nightfall!

Dioran will be happy to assist with any diversionary tactics, but sneaking is mostly out of the question.

OOC: I'll be offline for the weekend (starting now actually), because of a rock festival. Yes yes, Hof is off to Rock Werchter.

In case anyone finds it alarming that events in this adventure continue to follow the plotline of OOTS, please be reassured that the bandits are not lead by a female sorceress intent on seducing one of your number. :)

Hmm. What should come next? Possibly "Sacrificing minions: Is there any problem it CAN'T solve?" Or we can segue to Dork Tower...

Player: I rolled an 18 Wisdom! Yes! I am a Cleric of ultimate wisdom!
DM: Allright them, where were me? Oh, that's right... On the other side of the hill are 42,394 orcs...
Player: The cleric of ultimate wisdom charges!

(Damn. :p

Sacrificing minions? That's so wasteful! Who breaks a tool he might need later? And weakens his other tools at the same time? :])

ooc: It is pretty funny how this is paralleling that strip...

BIC: "OK" says Iggy after the group has started carefully out. Iggy has already been conversing with his bat about the situation. Urging him forward, now, Iggy asks Kennedy to fly ahead and find a human settlement. "Try to find doors that we grounddwellers could use to enter. How many are there? And how many men do you see? More than us here? Many like a swarm of mosquitos?" he empaths.
