The main reason for this thread is to ask if anyone knows how to make words appear on paper if a flame is held up to them or in the moonlight or any other cheesy trick of that sort. I am not sure the latter is possible. Any other tid bits to drawings and music are also relevant. thank you

Lemon Juice. When dried dissapears.....pass over a candle flame or close to a hot light bulb and the words will appear.....works best if used on parchment colored paper.....

Ah, reminds me when I had a map drawn with lemon juice as a prop. Too bad the player almost set it on fire when using his lighter.

there were markers in the past.
one to write it, the other to make it appear on the paper.

Lemon juice works.

There is also the jigsaw puzzle boards. small boards that you can draw on and break apart before you give it to the players and they have to put them back together. Great for when they need to put it back together. Time them and set it as the standard, unless they find a way to keep the pieces together in game (ie some sort of glue, in some cultures they use rice as a type of paste glue).
