Attn: Green Ronin! OGL section 15 and Dragon Annual

The Dragon Annual last year included some open content that I'd like to include in my "setting bible" that I'm drafting up. Of course, it's a personal document, and not one that I need to worry about desseminating, but I'd still like to do it right, make it OGL compliant and legal.

I'd like to add the "Freeport firearms" rules from the Dragon Annual, which are indicated as open content, but I'm not sure I can figure out exactly what I need to put in the section 15 of my own OGL copy. The OGL included with the annual doesn't reference anything other than the SRD in its own section 15. If I understand that correctly, that means I don't have to either, at least as far as open content from that magazine is concerned, right?

In most cases you have to copy the exact text of the OGL section 15 of the work from which you get material.

But...

If a work uses OGC from another work, and you realize that they have incorrectly sited that material in their OGL section 15, the best bet is to contact the original producers of the material.

In this case I'd suggest contacting Green Ronin and asking them how to site their work.

Two cents... :)
