AU - Verrick Racial Levels question

I don't have my book here at work, but this morning i noticed that in the description of the verrick racial levels it mentions that verrick racial levels stack with caster level for caster level benefits (or wording to a similar effect).

Now - maybe I am missing something (or not), but does this mean that the racial levels stack for figuring out spells as well? Something like the "+1 caster level" for PrCs where you get more spells but no class abilites? Or does it just mean that when it comes to power checks you use your caster levels and your verrick racial levels?

Also, other then treating their character level as their caster level for the innate psionic abilities, do they get to add any stat bonus (say from int, wis or cha)?

More the latter. For spells known and per day, you use your actual class, but a (say) magister5/verrik3 casting an energy bolt would use '8' as his effective level for damage, range, overcoming SR, etc.

If they add a stat bonus, it's most likely from Wisdom, but I can't find anywhere that says they do. You might try asking on Monte's boards.

I believe they get a +2 to int or wis, their choice, at level 3
