Still catching up on gamebooks. I am currently reading the second (blue-cover) book from the "Castle Whiterock" set. It's a good adventure, but I don't think I would run it as-is (or even close). Also, I prefer the more formalised structure of the Paizo adventures - they might be less enjoyable to read, but they're also easier to use, since things are all clearly labelled and in their places.
At some stage, I'm going to have to pick up a copy of "Forges of Nuln", since my WFRP campaign is about to come to the end of "Spires of Altdorf". I also have "Barony of the Damned" to read, since Amazon sent me the wrong book, and I've decided not to ask for a replacement.
Novel-wise, I have read the first chapter of Conn Iggulden's "Emperor: the Gates of Rome", which is off to quite a good start. However, I'm not making any progress on that in favour of other books. Once I get back to that, the next novel in line will probably be "Twenty Years After" by Dumas.
