She was there in the theatre version (watched it twice), but everyone made such a big deal out of it, and she was mo more than a one second "just another alien" cameo...

I was somewhat surprised that they didn't use the Aura Sing character for the Zam Wesell role in Episode II. But I guess George wanted a new and different action figure to sell.
