Austin Gamers -- North Lamar Half-Price

5-6 different Exalted books (I don't play the game and didn't look closely)

Star Wars d20 starships and dark side books

Goodman's Wizards and Warriors power gamer guides

New Warhammer RPG and some supplements (2 copies of the main game)

And, yet again, I've uncovered someone's AD&D 1e collection. Probably 20 or so old modules.


Plus a lot of other stuff but the above stood out.

Oh yeah. Hall of Many Panes was also there . . .

Went and the the old mods were already sold. Man, they go fast... I saw hall of many panes, but it was damaged on the corner.

Guess what? I also saw Beast Builder there as well. It was labeled a damaged promo copy (it was damaged), so I'm a bit puzzled how that got there....

Durn it, I used to go to that bookstore regularly when I was stationed out there. I miss that half-priced books for all the good finds.

I'll be in Austin for a month next summer and will have to resume my lurking among the stacks.

Well, this time it wasn't me taking them.

Heh. I thought to myself, "Maybe he ment the one way up north?" so I went to the two others and low and behold found a 1/2price copy of Conan and a 1/4price copy of From Stone to Steel. I was very happy with the latter, as I'd sold my copy.

Really? I didn't see that when I was there. I would have grabbed it.

They must have put more stuff out after I left. The bastards. They should just let me dig through the back.

I was rather surprised that they were gone so quick and finding your own book in a 1/2 price is a bit confusing for a second.
