Ummm no.
RMIT is closer to the Myers department store.
Basically, if you are standing at the front door of mind-games and looking out onto the street, turn right, and walk a couple of blocks and you should be at the corner of swanston and la trobe.

RMIT should be right across from the corner you are standing on.

Though I could be off by half a block.

D.

Cool! Thanks. I'll try to make it and hope I can find the right room. :)

I met with a few fine folks at the RMIT get-together and had some nice chats. Thanks to Chris, Ben, and others there!

I'm also happy to announce that Mind Games in Melbourne will be carrying World of Whitethorn products in the very near future. Big thanks to Matt Butcher!

I should be meeting with a friend of a friend here today in Christchurch who is also a gamer. Also, I think I've located a gaming store near my hotel in the city center.

Otherwise, I'm going bungee jumping and skydiving tomorrow or so. Hopefully, I'll have some pics when I get back. :)

Hello,

Then it's off to Hong Kong from Dec. 22 to Dec. 29 and possibly a couple of days in Seoul, Korea. Please let me know if any Hong Kong or Korean gamers are interested in meeting in these locations, too!

Cheers!

When I lived in HK I didn't get much of a chance to game, so I don't really know any players in the area. I did find 2 Games Workshop stores, however. If you're bored, you might find some rpgers there. One is in Wanchai (HK island) on the 3rd level of 183 Hopewell Centre, Queen's Road East. The other is in Monk Kok (Kowloon) in Grand Century Place, 3rd level.

Thanks for the info! I was just shopping with my sister today looking for Warhammer stuff for my nephew. We went to a few random "hobby" shops, but couldn't find anything. Hopefully, the stores you've recommended will carry the stuff as I'll have to check them out.

By the way, does anyone know what to buy to get a kid started on Warhammer? I have no idea. I think his friend is into it, so he wanted to get some of the stuff.
