[AV2] Rules for Tattoos?

I'm happily running my game without AV2, but now a player became interested in a tattoo as magical item. The Compendium gives me factual info on each single tattoo, but are there any general tattoo rules in AV2 I'd need to know? Or are tattoos just a different way of implementing a magical item effect?

- A character can only have one magical tattoo at a time
- They're usually applied with Enchant Magic Item or by using a tattoo stone (a single-use magic item)
- They're removed using Disenchant Magic Item, and the subject must be willing or helpless

Thanks Peraion, so we have mostly rules paraphernalia concerning the application and removal.

Can you tell me where it says you can only have one tatto? My understanding was that you could only have one tattoo of each type. But I am away from my books now and can't check that.

Page 83 on AV2, third paragraph of the Tattoos entry:

"One's mortal form can contain only a small amount of foreign magic, however, so a character can have only one tattoo at a time."
