Avatar Tonight!!!!

This was labled as Episode 10: The Day of Black Sun.

Technically it is 2 episodes (310 and 311), but is actually broken into 2 parts:

The Invasion: The Day of Black Sun part 1
The Eclipse: The Day of Black Sun part 2

Some countries played it as two seperate episodes but here in the States it was played was listed as 310 (not positive, will check when I get home) for both parts.

Season 3 is to have 21 episodes instead of the 20 for the previous two seasons.

A really good fan site I've found is Avatar Spirit http://avatarspirit.net
Their information is pretty good and they have forums too.

It was alright I think for Azula to be able to completely avoid attacks from two rather skilled benders is stretching it. I mean Ang and Toph aren't anything to scoff at, yet all Azula did was bounce around the cavern evading EVERYTHING, bah!

It just shows just how powerful Azula really is, she doesnt just rely on her firebending, her martial prowess is quite impressive too. Hers was a delaying acton though, she was only there to run down the clock. Had the Dai Lee agents not been there she would have been nothing but a speedbump to Aang and Toph and she knew it. She might be crazy but she is anything but stupid...

I enjoyed it all right. I didn't mind Azula being able to dodge attacks while staying completely on the defense and on the move in terrain she was familiar with. Aang and Toph were just using very basic attacks, and she would have been blocked in eventually.

Now, I do think it's odd that they were surprised that Azula learned about the eclipse. They shared their plan with the Earth King, and then told him to trust the Kiyoshi warriors as allies--allies that later turned out to be Azula & company. It was kind of a rather large oversight for it to not even occur to anyone that vital info was given away.

So, anyone know when new episodes will be on the way?

I actually have no idea. This past Friday was 310 by itself this time and this coming Friday may be 311. I dont think Anyone has posted an air date for 312 yet. I do remember that at the beginning of a lot of the early season 3 episodes the announcer stated "10 weeks of all new Avatar"; so it might be possible that its gone into reruns. I really hope its not a 10 week break but it might just be. I'll post something here if I hear anything sooner.
