Avenger PP Oathsworn Question

The Avenger Oathsworn Paragon Path in PHB2 has a class feature called "Sworn Oath." It allows an Oathsworn Avenger to "make two attack rolls against each target" when he spends an action point.

If this attack is against the Avenger's Oath of Enmity target, he is already rolling two dice. Does he get to roll four d20's when he spends an action point to make an attack? :hmm:

As per your Sworn Oath ability you roll two attacks. If they are your Oath of Enmity as well, you roll 2d20 per attack. So yes, effectively 4d20. I would keep (in example) 2 red d20s and 2 blue d20s to differentiate the separate attacks.

Edit: nvm... The wording sucks ;)

Effect: When you make a melee attack against the target and the target is the only enemy adjacent to you, you make two attack rolls and use either result. This effect lasts until the end of the encounter or until the target drops to 0 hit points, at which point you regain the use of this power.
If another effect lets you roll twice and use the higher result when making an attack roll, this power has no effect on that attack. If an effect forces you to roll twice and use the lower result when making an attack roll, this power has no effect on that attack either.
If an effect lets you reroll an attack roll and you rolled twice because of this power, you reroll both dice

Indeed. Basically, this feature is yet another way to get your class feature on powers that wouldn't necessarily get it (like ranged powers) -- not a way to double-up on your class feature.

And while we are talking about additional situations where you can get the 2 attack rolls /w the PP feature, we should not forget being swarmed by enemies.
