Avenger Question: Censure of Unity and Strength of Many Power

I'll playing in an upcoming all-dwarf game, and I've decided to try out the Avenger - the only class I have yet to see a player of mine decide to run. So, I get to try something out that our group has yet to try out.

I've decided I like the Censure of Unity class feature for a dwarf dedicated to Moradin - he bands with his allies to take down his enemies. A very dwarven trait, in my opinion. The strength of the clan is greater than than the strength of the one.

Along those same lines, I've become enamored with the Strength of Many 1st-level Daily Power. But I have a question regarding the interaction between the Censure of Unity Class Feature, and the bonus granted by the power.

Censure of Unity's class features reads:
You gain a +1 bonus to damage rolls against your oath of enmity target for each ally adjacent to that target. The bonus increases to +2 at 11th level and +3 at 21st level.

Strength of Many Daily Power Effect reads:
Whenever you make a damage roll before the end of your next turn, you gain a +2 bonus for each ally within 2 squares of you.

So, lets say that I use Strength of Many, and hit with the attack, while 3 allies are within 2 squares of me, and 2 of them are adjacent to my target. Is my plus to damage 6 (from allies within 3 squares) + 2 (from allies adjacent to the target) for a total of 8? Or is it just 6, since that's the highest individual amount?

My gut tells me that it's 8, since Strength of Many's bonus is a Power bonus, and Censure of Unity's bonus is a Class Feature, but I wanted to try and get a consensus. Also, don't want to be completely cheesing my DM here. We've already established that we're going to have a very melee-heavy 6-dwarf party. I have the potential to be nearly abusing this power.

Agreed. I only needed to see one untyped bonus to know that total stackage is absolutely possible.

And don't forget to spend an action point that turn or the next to get the damage bonus again...

I wouldn't worry too much about an abusable daily power. Dailies are kind of meant to be a bit over the top. Rogues can arrange for a lot more "unfair bonus damage" than this even on a bad day!

Just remember that you'll need to do a lot of math on the fly to get your bonus damage, since it'll change from round to round.

But, yes, that there's a good Action Point round funbag there.

Or, at third level pull in Fury's Advance for the great CoU bonuses and the ability to drop yet another attack in just when your damage bonus skyrockets -- if anyting, it's even better for martyrs, but if you've built a CoU to get big temporary damage bonuses, you can get the best of both worlds.

Oh, I've got Fury's Advance. The game is starting at 4th level, and Hendal Forgehelm is tailored towards laying the smack down in the midst of his Fighter, Paladin, Slayer, and Warpriest melee buddies. :)
