WE have yet to go to the hearing on June 11th, but today we got the word that the VA has changed my wife's rating to 100% for the past 3 years, and to 80% for the first year. They will also be back paying for that whole period!

So there are still a couple of questions we have, and depending on those answers it looks like the whole thing is over, and settled in a very favorable fashion for my wife and our family.

As it stands, she will be getting back paid enough to pay off ALL of our non mortgage debt and allow us to buy a new/newish car or truck, and our monthly income goes up by a couple of grand.

So this also means I should make it to Gen Con, and I have to check, but I may also make the Troll Convention after all as well.

So drink up! Celebrate with us!

We had the hearing with the judge this past Thursday. It seemed to go positive, but we won't know what the judge actually thinks for another 8 months. However our lawyer seemed encouraged and we felt like things went well.

We'll find out in March.
